Verizon Wireless let someone allow an unauthorized porting out (unauthorized transfer out) of my telephone number 929 999 XXXX at the beginning of July 2013. And their fraud department and legal departments are outright refusing to look into the matter. Outright refusing to.
This, after being a corporate client of theirs and having all of my paperwork showing that I am the rightful owner, they are accusing me of willfully handing over the account information to the perpetrator.
Now why would I do that? I live alone. And I had the number for less than a week.
Let this be a lesson to customers of Verizon Wireless, Verizon Wireless customer service does not care about you, Verizon Wireless Fraud Department doesn’t care about you. And the Verizon Wireless Legal Department doesn’t care about you.
It’s time to move to T-Mobile where they take these things more seriously.
They should be ashamed of themselves. Treating me like I’m the criminal here.
